CURATION & CULTURAL PROGRAMMES
Karina works with museums, universities and organisations to produce cultural programmes that:
Decolonise cultural narratives,
Recognise the creative and cultural influence of the African diaspora,
Celebrate performing arts legacies, and
Explore the social impetus for transformative cultural movements.
She curates interdisciplinary programmes featuring live entertainment production, talks, film and young creative commissions. Recent projects include the Inspired Leadership Mandela 100 centenary programme for the British Museum (2018) and The Real Sounds of London Festival for the Paris-Londres: Music Migrations (1962-1989) exhibition in Paris (2019).
PRODUCTION, WRITING & PRESENTING
Karina has over 20 years of experience in entertainment and arts journalism, media production and communications. She hosted music and arts shows on

ARTS & EDUCATION
As a consultant to the educational sector, she works with colleagues to push boundaries and improve the representation and experience of performing arts, creative and humanities students. She works with the UAL Awarding Body, University of Sussex and Disney Theatre Group.
Karina facilitates CPD training that empowers leaders, educators and creative professionals to develop a more confident approach to equity and inclusion. She designs programmes that enhance the contextual understanding necessary to develop critical skills, develop innovative practice and stimulate the desire for lifelong learning.
Karina designs workshops that enable young people to explore their heritage, identity and creative vision through progressive conversations, and performing arts practice. She sits on the UAL Music Performance and Production EDI group and the One Dance UK Decolonising the Dance Curriculum Roundtable.
